As reported last week by Media Create, Anthem debuted at the top of the Japanese charts with 78,000 physical copies sold which is equivalent to 92% of the copies distributed by the publisher on Asian territory.
These are positive numbers, Anthem has almost sold-out in Japan, selling most of the copies obviously on PlayStation 4, since it should not surprise considering the marginal presence of Xbox One in Japan.
Anthem debuted in first place also in Italy, United Kingdom (position maintained also in the second week), United Arab Emirates, Africa, Australia and Asia. So continues the excellent streak of success of Western games in Japan, to date Anthem is the most successful BioWare title on Japanese territory
In North America, on the other hand, things do not seem to go as well, with many retailers who have lowered their Anthem price two weeks after launch, with the aim of increasing sales
Anthem arrives in February, preorder it on Amazon.it at 62.99 euros and receive exclusive bonus content, including the Founders' Banner, unique emblem to be used in play.
