The highly appreciated Devil May Cry 5 presents three different playable characters: Nero, V and Dante each of which has a different style of play, thus making the gameplay more than just varied. But some other protagonists could be coming, as we have anticipated in the last few days.
In addition to the mode Bloody Palace coming soon as DLC they had in fact been discovered by the date miners within the game code, some references to the Vergil character, so some have speculated that sooner or later it would have been made usable somehow in-game.
Better before then, you must have thought of the YouTuber and modder Nekorun who published a video in which he explained how he had already made the game's final boss, a playable character. The character seems to work quite well as shown in the video, demonstrating that perhaps the data miners had taken us, even if his set of moves seems extremely limited for the time being.
On the other hand Vergil it was included in every Devil May Cry starting from the third episode, and is one of the most appreciated by the fans, so a move of this kind does not seem completely unexpected.
The burning mod is not still available for download, but will be available in the coming days. What do you think? Would you like to play like Vergil even in the last incarnation of the series? Pending the possible announcement by Capcom take a look at our review of Devil May Cry 5.
