WB Games and Niantic reveal the first details of gameplay for Harry Potter Wizards Unite the new mobile game in augmented reality (AR) that puts magic in the hands of all the aspiring magicians and witches of the world.

In Harry Potter Wizards Unite the player's adventure begins with being recruited as a new member of a Secret Task Force, with the intent to investigate the Calamity, a new threat to the Magic world. Artifacts, creatures, characters and even memories of the past, called Foundables, appear randomly in the world of Muggles, and witches and wizards from all over the world will have to go hunting for these elements and return them to their places of origin, all looking for to hide magic from unsuspecting Muggles. Players can then reload the spell energy at particular points on the map, where they will also find magical ingredients for special potions, Passports to reach iconic wizarding world locations and much more.
Witches 'and wizards' combat skills will come then tested in some real-world locations called Fortresses, key points that will create Magic Challenges. These real-time multiplayer battles against dangerous enemies will require players to join forces to defeat increasingly powerful threats and unlock rare rewards. Harry Potter Wizards Unite will arrive for iOS and Android devices during 2019. The pre-registrations are now available on Google Play.
