After a long period in Beta, the ID change function on the PlayStation Network has finally arrived and is available to everyone, with the first free change and the following for a fee. In our guide we find out how to proceed with the change, for those who would like to change their name.
If you were too young when you registered for the Sony program of online services you were too young and chose a ID which now embarrasses you terribly, or if you are simply tired of the current one and have decided to change nickname in fact, there is now a solution to your problem, although there are some limitations and some conditions particular to be respected.
Naturally the chosen ID must not be offensive, even if apparently it was not something so obvious given that Sony has already seen itself forced to delete several nicknames and replace them with temporary IDs on PSN. A short amount of users has already proven to be hard-core, in short.
Fortunately, however, the community of players is also composed of players who genuinely decided to make a change to their online profile, and it is therefore to them that we we address with our video guide.
Is it worth changing your nickname or are you taking risks with games and trophies? Here is the complete guide with appropriate warnings.
