Mortal Kombat 11: here's how long it will take to complete the storymode

14

NetherRealm Studios the developers of Mortal Kombat 11 have just revealed the estimated duration of the story mode of the highly anticipated fighting game. The Story Director of the game spoke about it (by the way, did you read our interview with Dominic Cianciolo?) To Gamereactor

"I can make a more or less exact estimate of the videos and everything else, but I can not tell you exactly how long the story mode will last in itself. In any case it will take around eight hours for its completion "stated Cianciolo in the interview.

As you may recall, the previous title of the saga took about five hours to complete, on average (obviously the time also varied according to the skill of the player). Mortal Kombat 11 therefore looms much longer than its predecessor.

Eight hours for a game based on narrative is not such an astonishing fact, but it is obviously not the case of Mortal Kombat, a fighting game that has always had an important focus on history, but that remains a fighting game . And a duration of eight hours for a title like that, it's really a lot of stuff considering also the multiplayer component, which will inevitably add important minutage to the longevity of the title.

The fighting game of NetherRealm will be available starting from April 23 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more information, take a look at our latest preview of Mortal Kombat 11.
