Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, NetherRealm Studios and Intersport have revealed new details for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition 2019/2020, the inaugural season of the world export program dedicated to the last chapter of the Mortal Kombat series.  The Interkontinental Kombat will be organized by Intersport and will open its doors at June 2019 offering players of all levels the chance to compete in four online tournaments in Europe, the Middle East and Australia, including the following events:
August – Eastern Europe
August – Middle East
September – Australia
September – Western Europe
In addition, several offline tournaments will be held with a $ 1,000 prize pool for each stage. Offline events include:
15-16 June – Fighting Games Challenge (Łódź, Poland)
20-21 July – Versus Fighting (Birmingham, United Kingdom)
27 -29 September – UFA (Paris, France)
3-6 October – IgroMir (Moscow, Russia)
The qualification for these events guarantees a place in the international finals to be held at DreamHack Winter in Jönköping , in Sweden, from 29 November to 1 December . There will not only be a $ 10,000 prize pool up for grabs but the Interkontinental Kombat winner will also be able to compete in the Final Kombat, the final of the Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition championship, scheduled for first quarter of 2020 in Chicago, Illinois (USA). The Final Kombat will be broadcast live on the Twitch channel of the NetherRealm studios, just like all the regular Mortal Kombat 11 Pro Kompetition seasonal tournaments.
