Directly from the San Francisco GDC, Microsoft's Bill Schiefelbein revealed some data related to Xbox LIVE the Microsoft platform extended not only to Xbox One but also to PCs and mobile platforms.
Each month 64 million registered users in the service (since it includes both Xbox LIVE Gold members and Silver customers) pass 4.28 billion hours on Xbox LIVE, the number of Party Chat open monthly, amounting to 736 million. To date, Xbox LIVE is one of the most active community gaming ever along with those of Steam, PlayStation Network, Battle.net and Epic Games, which has reached 250 million users with Fortnite.
The numbers also seem destined to grow further with the arrival of Xbox LIVE on Nintendo Switch, Cuphead (coming April 18) will be the first game for the hybrid console to integrate support for major LIVE features and other Microsoft titles will be released later. The Redmond company is also working to expand its network infrastructure and digital services such as Xbox Game Pass which has been so successful in recent months
