Through his official Twitter account, Seamus Blackley known as the "father" of Xbox shared some stories about the birth of the first console dedicated to gaming at Microsoft.
As you can see at the bottom of this news, in fact, Blackley has recently published a Tweet in which he tells an anecdote from him " never shared " and linked to the early stages of presentation of the project " Xbox ". In the chirping he tells of his meeting with Don Mattrick at the time part of the executive of Electronic Arts Canada. The subject of the meeting was the possibility to present the idea for a gaming console to Microsoft . On that occasion, reports Blackley Mattrick proved decidedly skeptical about it. The father of Xbox reports, in particular, that "l ui did not believe it was possible ". In spite of this first approach, subsequently, Don Mattrick assumed the role of Responsible of the division Xbox at Microsoft. The latter retained this position until 2013, when he made the decision to leave the House of Redmond to continue his professional career elsewhere.
It was at a later stage in these events that today the well-known Phil Spencer came to play the same role in the past occupied by Mattrick . Under his leadership, an ample program of relaunching the gaming division of the Microsoft company has begun, recently engaged in the acquisition of new and prestigious in-house studios and in the expansion of services such as the Xbox Game Pass. For readers who wish to deepen the recent development path of the Redmond House, we point out that on the pages of Everyeye there is a special entirely dedicated to the theme, edited by our Francesco Fossetti.
