Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order: new details on combat system and companion

After demonstrating that it can count on an evocative atmosphere and a rather interesting narrative system thanks to its first cinematic trailer, many are wondering what kind of gameplay will offer Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, the new action-adventure project single player developed by the guys of Respawn Entertainment .

Through the details that emerged on the Microsoft Store and on the PlayStation Blog, we have the opportunity to learn about some new facets of the adventure that will see us play the young Padawan Cal Kestis, managed to survive the Order 66.

Some of the most interesting details, tell us about a combat system that appears to be apparently close to that of the Souls and Sekiro series: Shadows Die Twice exactly like had been predicted by rumors that had emerged in recent days. We are talking about a system based on strikes, dodges and parry like the one present in the games directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki (although certainly not representing a prerogative of the games From Software). While admitting that the titles may resemble each other from this point of view, we are sure that the level of difficulty will be an aspect in which instead the two productions will differ considerably.

It is also interesting to discover how, within this " adventure on a galactic scale "which among other things will also include puzzle-solving phases we will be accompanied mainly by three companions : a former Jedi Knight, a quick-tempered pilot , and a fearless droid.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 15, 2019.
