After announcing the PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection and offering us a taste of Project xCloud game streaming technology during the latest Inside Xbox episode, Microsoft updates the application Wireless Display to allow the transmission of PC games on Xbox One

The application, downloadable for free from the Microsoft Store and usable by all PC users with operating system Windows 8.1 or 10 allows the streaming of video games and applications on Xbox One through a secure connection, preferably from the same home network to limit input lag problems in the use of the controller.

Once configured the various parameters related to latency, quality of transmission and the connection mode (if wired or Wi-Fi), the app Wireless Display allows to remotely control the prop rio PC through Xbox One: by doing so, you can access your Steam game library and the multimedia content on your computer's hard disk. The only limitation, from this point of view, is represented by the impossibility of using protected contents offered by platforms such as Netflix on consoles.
